Child-centered Education

We believe that children have a natural desire to learn, and the capability, given the appropriate environment, to learn on their own. Such an environment should include stimulating, age-appropriate topics and materials. Adult facilitators should design the learning process to address the developmental needs of each individual child. For that reason we support projects that:

  • Transform learning environments from traditional classrooms to child-centered classrooms.
  • Build an awareness of the importance of child-centered education among parents and other stakeholders.
  • Increase the variety of child-centered educational choices form which parents can choose.
